背面描述 Facing bust of Jan z Pernštejna (John IV of Pernstein, 1487–1548), the prominent Moravian nobleman, rendered in high relief in a naturalistic Renaissance portrait style. He is depicted wearing a broad-brimmed flat cap and a fur-trimmed collar with a chain about his shoulders, evoking his high aristocratic status. The legend JAN Z PERNŠTEJNA arcs along the lower left rim, while the dates 1487 · 1548 arc along the lower right, both in incuse Roman lettering against the mirrored proof field.

附加信息

John IV of Pernstein served as Supreme Chancellor of Bohemia in the early sixteenth century and presided over one of the wealthiest noble houses in Central European history — the Pernstein family's silver mining interests in Moravia made them briefly richer than the Habsburgs themselves. That fortune collapsed spectacularly within two generations through a combination of debt, mismanagement, and imperial disfavor, leaving the dynasty effectively extinct by 1631.

This issue belongs to Niue's broader Czech and Slovak historical figures program, a licensing arrangement that uses the island's sovereign mint authority to produce collector gold for the European market.
