| Opschrift voorzijde | 5 DOLLARS IRB ELIZABETH II Au 900 NIUE * 2017 |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | A stylized goldfish in high relief occupies the central field, depicted in profile facing right with detailed scale patterning on the body and flowing tail fins rendered in a polished finish against a matte background. Below the fish, a circular-cut turquoise blue Swarovski crystal element is set flush into the field, adding a decorative gemstone accent. Two elongated horizontal cutout holes pierce the coin on either side, allowing a cord or bracelet to pass through. The reverse field is otherwise unlettered. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Niue's micro-gold issues of the 2010s were produced primarily by the New Zealand Mint under licensing arrangements that used Niue's sovereignty as a convenient issuing vehicle — the island nation itself has no mint and a population under 2,000. These coins circulate nowhere and exist entirely as collector objects, purchased at substantial premiums over melt for their novelty dimensions.
At 1g of .900 gold, the metal content is negligible by bullion standards.
