Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse features a composition evoking traditional Chinese auspicious symbolism associated with the Five Blessings. On the left side of the field, a sika deer, two cranes, and a bat are depicted in intricate relief, each representing prosperity, longevity, and good fortune. A curved band bearing the inscription FINE SILVER 9999 1 OZ ARGENT PUR 9999 divides the design, separating the fauna motifs from a geometric lattice background inspired by classical Chinese window fretwork. Prominently displayed on the right half is a large Chinese character rendered in coloured enamel, denoting one of the five blessings. The word CANADA appears to the lower left of the design.

Aanvullende informatie

The "Five Blessings" series was produced by the Royal Canadian Mint specifically for the Chinese and Chinese-diaspora market, where the concept of five blessings — longevity, prosperity, health, virtue, and a natural death — carries genuine cultural weight rather than decorative appeal. The RCM pursued this market aggressively through the 2010s, developing dedicated bullion and collector lines timed to Lunar New Year sales cycles in Hong Kong, Singapore, and North American diaspora communities.

Struck to the RCM's .9999 fine standard, which the mint began promoting heavily after 2011 as a point of competitive differentiation against other sovereign bullion programs.
