Additional information

Issued to mark the centenary of the 1920 Czechoslovak Constitution, which established the First Republic's parliamentary framework following the collapse of Austria-Hungary. The constitution was drafted under pressure from competing Slovak and German minority interests, and the compromises embedded in its text would fuel political fractures throughout the interwar period.

Niue's licensing arrangement with the Czech Mint accounts for the vast majority of these commemorative silver issues — the island's sovereign status provides the legal issuing authority while production and distribution remain entirely European.
