| Reverse description | The reverse is similarly divided into two contrasting halves by a horizontal line. The upper half features two overlapping circular coin-within-coin representations in high relief: on the left, a laureate and draped bust of Emperor Ferdinand II facing right, rendered in the style of a historical thaler; on the right, a double-headed Imperial eagle with a central shield, also in the style of a period coin. The legend 'FERDINAND II.' appears prominently in the lower portion of the upper field. The lower half is divided diagonally into mirrored polished and matte fields, each bearing the inscriptions 'RUDOLFŮV MAJESTÁT' and 'POBĚLOHORSKÁ PROTIREFORMACE' rendered in a reversed-mirror script on the contrasting proof surface, creating a striking artistic effect. A Czech Mint engraver's mark appears at the top of the field. |
