Reverse description A large, highly detailed Canadian maple leaf dominates the reverse field, rendered in fine relief and presented with coloring characteristic of this commemorative issue. A privy mark bearing the bilingual inscription '20 YEARS ANS' is incorporated into the design in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf bullion coin series, first introduced in 1979.
