Beschrijving keerzijde Full-length animated figure of Cipísek, the beloved Czech cartoon character created by illustrator Radek Pilař, depicted in a dynamic walking pose facing right, wearing his characteristic wide-brimmed hat, short jacket, and boots. The character is rendered in a playful, cartoonish style against a deeply mirrored background, with a textured ground line at the base of the design. The name CIPÍSEK appears in large stylised lettering in the upper right field. The copyright notice, licensing credit, gold fineness designation Au 999.9, and the engraver's monogram IH are inscribed in small lettering along the left field.

Aanvullende informatie

Cipísek is a Czech animated mole character — distinct from the better-known Krtek (Little Mole) created by Zdeněk Miler — produced for Czechoslovak Television beginning in the 1970s. Niue has issued a steady stream of licensed character coins since the early 2010s, functioning less as circulating currency than as collector vehicles for Central European nostalgia markets. The 3.11 g specification places this squarely in the quarter-ounce class.
