Obverse description The obverse features the fourth effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, rendered in right-facing portrait by sculptor Susanna Blunt. The Queen is depicted wearing a diadem and pearl drop earrings with a pearl necklace, her hair arranged in a chignon. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left rim and D·G·REGINA along the right, separated by a beaded inner border that frames the uncluttered mirrored field. The initials SB appear discreetly below the portrait truncation.
