Obverse description The fourth definitive effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, sculpted by Susanna Blunt, depicted in right-facing bust at approximately 77 years of age, uncrowned and bare-headed, wearing a necklace and drop earrings. The legend arcs around the upper periphery of the field, with the sovereign's name and royal title rendered in Latin. The portrait is rendered with refined detail characteristic of the Blunt effigy adopted by the Royal Canadian Mint from 2003 onward.
