Buratino is shown standing in the right foreground, wearing a red jacket, white shorts, and red shoes, and carrying a book under his arm. To his left appear two villainous characters — the Fox Alice and the Cat Basilio — set against an uncoloured silver-relief background of an Italian townscape with buildings and a distant tower.
