| Obverse description | Diademed and draped right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field, surrounded by a decorative geometric border with Celtic-style interlace motifs. An outer ring is divided into twelve segments, each bearing the name of a zodiac sign in Latin script alongside its corresponding symbol in relief, alternating with Cyrillic inscriptions denoting the four classical elements (воздух, вода, огонь, земля). The Tokelau national flag appears in an engraved cartouche below the portrait. The legend ELIZABETH II – TOKELAU arcs around the inner border, with the date 2012, the fineness mark Ag925, the mint mark ММД, and the denomination FIVE DOLLARS inscribed in the field below the effigy. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays a boldly modelled rearing ram in high relief, rendered in polished silver against a frosted background, with its large curved horns selectively gilded to highlight the design. The figure faces left with forelegs raised, conveying dynamism and strength. A gilded decorative border of stylised flame or foliate motifs encircles the central medallion, itself set within a wider gilded annular band bearing repeating flame ornaments. The Cyrillic inscription ОВЕН (Aries) is incused in the lower portion of the central field below the ram. |
