Tokelau has no mint of its own and no meaningful numismatic tradition — these issues are produced entirely for the collector market, struck by the New Zealand Mint on behalf of the territory's three tiny atolls, whose combined land area barely exceeds ten square kilometers. The Aries release is one of twelve in a zodiac series, a format the NZ Mint has returned to repeatedly across multiple issuing authorities.
KM#195 confirms attribution to the standard bullion-adjacent collector series Tokelau began issuing around 2012.
