Surrounding the central boss, a finely detailed relief dragon is depicted in a sinuous, coiling posture, rendered in the style of classical Chinese decorative metalwork. Intricate geometric and scrollwork patterns fill the remaining field, echoing the ornamental registers characteristic of Han and Tang period bronze mirrors.
