Комментарии	Fiji's 1980 issue came during a period of relative monetary stability following independence in 1970, when the Reserve Bank was still relying entirely on De La Rue for production — a relationship that had continued unbroken from colonial note issues. Thomas De La Rue's intaglio printing on Fijian paper currency of this period is generally well-executed, and the watermark security was considered adequate for the region's then-limited counterfeiting risk. P#78A is distinguished from the otherwise similar P#78 by its signature combination — a detail that disproportionately affects collector value relative to the modest face denomination.
