Reverse description A single large sugar maple leaf (Acer saccharum) depicted in fine detail occupies the central field, with prominent veining rendered in high relief. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper periphery, while the bilingual inscription FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR curves along the lower periphery. The fineness designations .9999 appear flanking the maple leaf on either side in the mid-field. A small privy mark, varying by year and issue, appears beneath the maple leaf at the base of the stem, distinguishing individual releases within this bullion series.
