A second Taiko in flight is rendered in the upper field above the main bird, and two silver fern fronds frame the central design, one curling behind the bird in the upper right and another lying across the lower foreground. The legend CHATHAM ISLAND TAIKO arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination FIVE DOLLARS is inscribed in a straight legend along the lower rim. |
