| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem, with curled hair arranged in an upswept coiffure, drop earring, and a necklace visible at the truncation. This is the third definitive portrait, modelled by Raphael Maklouf, with the engraver's initials RDM incuse at the lower truncation.
