Obverse description The obverse bears the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by sculptor Susan Taylor, depicting a mature bare-headed portrait of the Queen facing right, shown at approximately 77 years of age. The Queen is adorned with a necklace and drop earrings, rendered in refined relief against a flat field. The surrounding legend reads ELIZABETH II, with the denomination 5 DOLLARS and the date 2007 also inscribed, along with the designer's initials SB.
