| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national coat of arms of Palau at centre, depicting a sea god holding a trident flanked by a mermaid, with a crescent moon, star, and treasure chest within a shield-shaped cartouche adorned with floral ornaments. Above the shield, a traditional Palauan outrigger canoe appears in the upper field.
