| 裏面の説明 | A highly detailed, partially colorized depiction of a Dendrobium secundum orchid spray occupies the majority of the reverse field, rendered with naturalistic precision. The cascading cluster of small pink and white blossoms with green leaves is applied in vivid color against the polished silver field. The species name DENDROBIUM SECUNDUM is inscribed in an arc along the upper periphery. The denomination $5 appears in large numerals to the left of the floral motif, with the silver content specification 1 TROY OZ 999 FINE SILVER inscribed along the lower field. |

Part of Singapore Mint's ongoing native orchid series, the Dendrobium secundum — known colloquially as the toothbrush orchid for its unilateral flower arrangement — grows across Southeast Asia and has particular cultural resonance in Singapore, where orchid cultivation has carried diplomatic significance since the Botanic Gardens began naming hybrid varieties after visiting heads of state in the 1950s. Mintage on these annual issues is tightly controlled for the collector market, with the 2015 release limited to 8,000 pieces worldwide.
