Obverse description Intaglio portrait of Norman Manley at left against a multicolour guilloche underprint with a banana tree vignette at centre-right. The Jamaican coat of arms is positioned at bottom centre, with denomination numerals in each corner and a star-prefixed serial number printed twice in red. The lower border carries the legend ISSUED UNDER THE BANK OF JAMAICA LAW 1960, with the series year and GOVERNOR signature line at lower right.
