| 正面描述 | The shield-shaped coat of arms of the Republic of Palau occupies the central field, depicting a traditional scene with a figure holding a spear and a sailing canoe above, surrounded by marine elements. The motto scroll at the base of the shield reads 'RAINBOW'S END'. The denomination '5$' appears in the lower field below the coat of arms. The circular legend 'REPUBLIC OF PALAU' arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by decorative stars. |

Chambord was never actually completed as François I envisioned it. Construction began in 1519, stalled repeatedly due to wars with the Habsburgs, and the king himself spent fewer than seven weeks there across his entire reign. The château became a convenient vehicle for commemorative coin programs in the 2010s, when Palau — a Pacific microstate with no historical connection to French Renaissance architecture — issued a series of European landmark pieces largely targeting the collector market through European distributors.
