背面描述 A sculpted three-quarter bust portrait of Czech gymnast Věra Čáslavská is depicted in the center of the field, shown with her head slightly tilted and resting gently against her raised right hand, her hair styled in an upswept bun. The portrait is rendered in fine relief with naturalistic detail, conveying a warm and contemplative expression. A circular ring element frames the bust in the background. The legend VĚRA ČÁSLAVSKÁ is inscribed in spaced capital letters along the upper periphery of the coin.

附加信息

Věra Čáslavská won four gold medals at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics — then returned home to a Czechoslovakia under Soviet occupation and a government that would blacklist her for signing Charter 77's predecessor document. She spent years working in obscurity, banned from coaching internationally, before being partially rehabilitated after 1989. The Czech Republic eventually made her a national hero, but she spent the better part of two decades professionally erased.

Niue's numismatic program licenses the New Zealand Mint to produce bullion and collector issues under its sovereign authority. The 2026 date places this posthumously — Čáslavská died in 2016.
