| Obverse description | The central field features the crowned Public Seal of Niue, bearing the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE in a circular band around the central device, with the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI on a ribbon below. The seal is surrounded by a radiating wheel-like framework dividing the field into seven segments, each containing a finely engraved depiction of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, including the Temple of Artemis, the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, the Statue of Zeus, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the Colossus of Rhodes. The denomination 5 DOLLARS and the date 2023 appear in the lower central field, with the mint mark CM visible on the obverse. |
