| Obverse description | The field is dominated by a textured background evoking tank track impressions, over which is superimposed a tilted rectangular panel with mirror-polished proof finish bearing the Public Seal of Niue at center. The seal depicts a palm tree within a circular border inscribed PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE, surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by a decorative chain, with two crossed oars and the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI below. The denomination 5 DOLLARS appears in raised letters to the upper left of the panel, and the date 2023 is inscribed to the upper right. The mint mark CM appears on the reverse of the panel. |
