Obverse description Tribute effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait (signed IRB beneath the truncation). The bust is set within a raised circular legend band against a stained-glass mosaic patterned field. The scalloped lotus-petal shaped flan features intricate mandala-style botanical relief decoration radiating outward beyond the legend ring. The date 2023 appears at the top within the outer border, and the individual serial number 0001 is engraved at the bottom of the coin.

Reverse description Fully colored depiction of a lion's head rendered in a mandala-inspired ornamental style, occupying nearly the entire face of the scalloped lotus-shaped flan. The lion faces forward with intense amber and orange eyes, its flowing mane elaborately decorated with intricate henna-like filigree patterns in warm tones of gold, orange, and red. A vivid blue gemstone accent marks the forehead, referencing the fifth chakra (Vishuddha) symbolism of the series. Two smaller lion faces flank the central portrait at lower left and right, integrated within the swirling mane design. The outer border of the flan displays a detailed mandala frieze in deep blue and teal coloring, framing the entire composition.
