In the upper field, two WWII-era aircraft fly in formation above a panoramic cityscape depicting recognisable Prague landmarks including Charles Bridge and its Gothic tower. The lower portion of the field depicts a jubilant crowd of civilians with raised arms, some holding flowers and hats, celebrating liberation. The Czech legend OSVOBOZENÍ and the Slovak legend OSLOBODENIE arc across the upper left and upper right of the field respectively, flanking the large ČSR inscription at the top centre.
