| 背面描述 | The reverse is struck against a ruthenium-blackened field and dominated by an elaborate gold-plated central composition evoking ancient Phoenician and Levantine iconography. At the centre, a draped female bust wearing an ornate headdress and jewelled necklace is flanked symmetrically by two rampant winged griffins, their heads turned inward toward the central figure and their forelegs resting on scrolled acanthus volutes. Rising above the entire group is a majestic Cedar of Lebanon tree, its broad layered canopy rendered in fine sculptural relief. The background field is decorated with an intricate geometric latticework of interlocking star-polygon patterns in the Islamic arabesque tradition. The inscription LEBANON is spaced around the upper periphery in gold-toned Latin capitals, and the engraver's initials MH appear in the lower field. |
