Reverse description The reverse reproduces the majesty seal of Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV as known from the Golden Bull of 1356, depicting the enthroned emperor in full imperial regalia — wearing a mitre-style crown and holding a sceptre and orb — seated upon a throne. Flanking the emperor on either side are two large heraldic eagles with spread wings, each accompanied by a shield bearing the imperial eagle device. The entire composition is rendered in high relief with meticulous Gothic detail. A circular legend in Gothic script runs along the outer rim, divided across the field, reading KAROLUS QUARTUS DIVINA FAVENTE CLEMENTIA ROMANOR IMPERATOR SEMPER AUGUSTUS ET BOEMIE REX.
