Uncrowned right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupying the central field, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished background. The portrait is surrounded by an elaborate geometric border inspired by traditional Tokelauan weaving patterns (sennit braid motifs), which frame the entire inner field. The legend CHARLES III curves along the upper left, TOKELAU along the upper right, and 2024 descends on the right side; the denomination FIVE DOLLARS and the specifications 1 oz .999 SILVER arc along the lower portion of the design. The engraver's initials DT appear at the lower right of the portrait truncation. |

The central field depicts two stylised human figures rendered in an ornate, swirling decorative style representative of the Gemini twins, the third sign of the zodiac, facing one another in a symmetrical composition with elaborate foliate and scroll-work details. An outer border ring displays all twelve astrological zodiac symbols evenly spaced around the circumference, each rendered as its traditional glyph. At the lower centre of the inner field, the Gemini astrological symbol (II) appears above the inscription GEMINI in Latin capital letters. |
