Obverse description Right-facing uncrowned effigy of King Charles III, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The portrait is surrounded by an elaborate border of traditional Tokelauan geometric lattice patterns extending around the full circumference of the coin. The legend CHARLES III arcs across the upper left, TOKELAU and the date 2024 arc across the upper right, and FIVE DOLLARS 1 OZ .999 SILVER curves along the lower arc. The engraver's initials DT appear incuse on the truncation of the bust.

The surrounding border displays all twelve zodiac symbols arranged equidistantly around the circumference within a recessed ring, against a polished field.
