Boudica's revolt of 60–61 AD destroyed three Roman settlements — Camulodunum, Londinium, and Verulamium — before her forces were defeated by Gaius Suetonius Paulinus in a battle whose location remains unconfirmed to this day. Niue has become one of the more prolific licensing jurisdictions for commemorative silver, with its legal tender framework used by dozens of European minting houses seeking a Pacific issuer.
