Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse depicts the FIFA World Cup trophy in high relief at centre, rendered with fine sculptural detail and resting on a stepped base inscribed FIFA WORLD CUP. Behind the trophy, a world map fills the field, flanked by two prominent national landmarks: the Statue of Liberty to the left, representing the United States, and a stepped Mesoamerican pyramid to the right, representing Mexico. A stylised tower (CN Tower) rises at far right, representing Canada. The bold slogan WE ARE 26™ arches across the upper field in large decorative lettering. The outer legend reads FIFA WORLD CUP™ along the left arc and CANADA · MEXICO · USA along the upper-right arc, with small football motifs as separators.

Aanvullende informatie

The 2026 FIFA World Cup marks the first edition to expand to 48 nations and the first co-hosted across three countries simultaneously — the United States, Canada, and Mexico. That last point carries a certain irony: the 1970 and 1986 tournaments were both held in Mexico, but this will be the first time the country co-hosts alongside its NAFTA partners under an arrangement brokered partly to leverage stadium infrastructure spread across the continent.

Solomon Islands has no history of World Cup qualification.
