Additional information

Australia's domed coinage program has been running long enough that the format itself is no longer a novelty — what distinguishes individual releases now is execution. The Royal Australian Mint has produced concave silver pieces in this series since the mid-2010s, with the dome depth carefully controlled to allow stacking and capsule storage without contact damage to the highest relief points.

This is the first Lunar series issue to carry the Ian Rank-Broadley replacement portrait of Charles III, authorised following the September 2022 accession. The transition between monarchs mid-series created a short but genuine collecting inflection point.
