| 裏面の説明 | Printed entirely in green intaglio, the reverse centres on the circular seal of The Canadian Bank of Commerce — incorporating a heraldic shield with a sailing vessel and wheat sheaves, encircled by the bank's name and the date '1867' — flanked by two large engraved allegorical figures: Mercury at left holding a caduceus, and a female figure at right carrying a sheaf of grain, both jointly raising a crown above the seal.
