| Mô tả mặt trước | The national coat of arms of Barbados occupies the left portion of the rectangular field, rendered in high relief and depicting a shield supported by a dolphin and a pelican, surmounted by a bearded fig tree and two crossed sugarcane stalks as a crest, with the national motto 'PRIDE AND INDUSTRY' inscribed on a scroll at the base. To the right of the arms, the country name 'BARBADOS' appears in bold raised lettering at the top, separated by a horizontal rule, followed by the date '2023', a second horizontal rule, the denomination '5 DOLLARS', and the fineness designation '1oz Ag.999' in the lower right field. |

| Thông tin bổ sung |
Barbados has no historical connection to the Boston Tea Party — the island was a loyal British sugar colony in 1773 and remained so long after American independence. Its appearance here as issuer reflects the modern bullion and commemorative licensing market, where small sovereign states sell minting rights to produce coins with foreign themes, the face value nominal and the real transaction entirely between a private mint and a collector.
