Opmerkingen

Belize switched its five-dollar denomination to polymer in this 2025 issue, continuing a gradual migration away from cotton-paper stock that the Central Bank began with earlier denominations. The Canadian Bank Note Company has been the sole printer for Belizean currency for decades, and the relationship shows in the consistency of the series' technical specifications across issues.

The transparent window is integrated into the substrate rather than applied as a patch — a distinction that matters for authentication, since the older windowed thread on previous paper issues was a separate element and easier to simulate.
