| 正面描述 | At left, a kaokao pattern derived from the Tane-Nui-A-Rangi meeting house on the University of Auckland marae forms a decorative vignette against the multicolour underprint. The central field carries a landscape vignette of Mount Cook/Aoraki rendered in tonal gradients, while the right portion bears a portrait of Sir Edmund Hillary. Inscriptions in English and te reo Māori run along the upper register, with the legal tender declaration positioned below. |

| 备注 |
New Zealand's polymer series, introduced from 1999 onward, was produced by the Canadian Bank Note Company rather than Note Printing Australia — an unusual choice given that NPA had printed most of the region's polymer issues and held a near-monopoly on Southern Hemisphere polymer production at the time. The 2015–2018 date range marks the second generation of New Zealand polymer notes, which introduced upgraded security features including an extended transparent window incorporating colour-shifting elements, prompted largely by counterfeiting pressure on the earlier polymer series.
The shift to CBN for production reflected a competitive tender process, not geography.
