| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an intaglio portrait of Sir Cecil Wallace-Whitfield at right, rendered against a pink and peach guilloche underprint. At left, a vignette of a sailing vessel and a map of the Bahamas archipelago appear within the multicolour underprint, alongside a smaller vignette of a flamingo and a conch shell.
