Description de l’avers	The national arms of Solomon Islands occupies the right centre, rendered in intaglio on a guilloche underprint with a pale green tint over the entire note. The national flag vignette appears as a watermark ghost at centre-left, flanked by two facsimile signatures below the legal tender inscription. Traditional ornamental motifs and the numeral 5 appear at each corner, with a dark blue header band bearing the issuer name at top and a row of traditional canoes along the lower border.
