Obverse description	The obverse is dominated by a central guilloche underprint in pale tones, over which the intaglio promise-to-pay text reads 'I promise to pay the bearer on demand FIVE DOLLARS FOR THE RESERVE BANK OF RHODESIA', with a Governor's signature below. To the left, an intaglio vignette of two giraffes beneath an acacia tree; to the right, the Rhodesian coat of arms with the motto 'NOMINI DIGNA'. The Reserve Bank of Rhodesia circular seal appears at centre, and the date 'SALISBURY, 1ST MARCH, 1976' is printed at the foot.
