备注

The Bank of Jamaica was not actually established until 1960, the same year attributed to this note, making early-dated pieces part of the transitional institutional moment when Jamaica was still a British colony preparing for independence — which came in 1962. Thomas De La Rue handled the bulk of British Caribbean currency printing throughout this period, and their involvement here reflects the Colonial Office's standard procurement channels rather than any independent Jamaican decision.

The P#CS2 designation indicates a collector specimen rather than a circulated issue, which accounts for most surviving examples in this series.
