| 备注 |
The Ningpo Commercial Bank was one of the earliest Chinese-owned modern commercial banks, founded in Shanghai in 1908 by a group of Ningbo-region merchants who had made their fortunes in Shanghai's comprador economy. This note dates to the bank's first full year of operation. The choice of Toppan Security Printing Co. — a Japanese security printer with Shanghai operations — rather than a Western firm like American Bank Note Company was itself a statement of regional commercial alignment.
The "A61C" Pick designation reflects one of several signature or date varieties within the 1909 series, distinguished by minor issuance details rather than design changes.
