Reverse description Printed entirely in green intaglio on cotton paper, the reverse is dominated by a central heraldic vignette of the Canadian royal coat of arms supported by a lion on the left and a unicorn on the right, set within an elaborate guilloche underprint. Lacy lathe-work rosette panels bearing the numeral '5' flank the central arms on both sides. The bank name 'STERLING BANK OF CANADA' is inscribed in an arc above the central vignette, with 'FIVE' lettered in a panel below.
