Reverse description The reverse is printed in a single brown-sepia tone and composed entirely of intricate lathe-work guilloche rosettes arranged symmetrically across the field, with three large central medallions and smaller oval counters at the corners. A central rectangular panel bears the inscription THE ST. STEPHEN'S BANK in bold serif lettering set within the guilloche framework. The overall design relies entirely on fine engine-turned geometric ornament with no pictorial vignettes.
