| Opschrift keerzijde | This note is one of an issue aggregating in amount $400,000.00 authorized for the purpose of paying current operating expenses of said city, in anticipation of the collection of delinquent taxes, and is issued under authority of the general laws of the State of Ohio, particularly amended senate bill No. 382 passed as an emergency measure by the 90th General Assembly of Ohio, and approved June 27, 1933, and the Uniform Bond act of the General Code, and pursuant to ordinance No. 9828 of the Council of the City of Toledo, Ohio, duly passed on the 13th day of November 1933. It is hereby certified and recited that all acts, conditions and things necessary to be done precedent to and in the issuing of these notes, in order to make them legal, valid and binding obligations of said city, have been done, happened and performed in regular and due form as required by law. This note will be received and accepted at its full face value by the Treasurer of Lucas County, Ohio, in payment of any and all taxes charged on any duplicate of real estate and public utility property or on the general duplicate of tangible personal property, but excluding special assessments; and will be so received by the City of Toledo in full payment of any obligation due it of whatsoever character. |
