Reverse description The Royal Arms of Morocco — a crowned shield bearing a green pentagram (Solomon's Star) over a rising sun on a red field, supported by two rampant lions — occupies the upper portion of the reverse. A scrolled ribbon below the arms bears the royal motto in Arabic. The dual dates 1384 (Hijri) and 1965 (Gregorian) appear in the upper field on either side of the coat of arms. The large numeral '5' dominates the lower field, flanked by the Arabic word for 'five' (خمسة) and the denomination 'دراهم' (dirhams) in stylized Arabic lettering. A beaded border frames the entire design.
