Additional information

Andorra's small commemorative silver program expanded sharply in the early 2010s, with the Episcopal Co-Principality leveraging its unusual dual sovereignty — shared between the French Republic and the Bishop of Urgell — to issue collector pieces under its own monetary authority. The "Summer" issue belongs to a four-piece seasonal series, each struck to the same specification and released across 2012.

Mintages for this program were tightly capped for the collector market, with no expectation of circulation.
