| Описание реверса | The reverse presents a full-color reproduction of a fragment of the fresco 'Nozze di Cana' (The Marriage at Cana) by the Italian medieval master Giotto di Bondone, originally painted circa 1304-1306 as part of the cycle in the Scrovegni Chapel, Padua. The scene depicts figures gathered at the wedding feast, rendered in Giotto's characteristic early Gothic style with naturalistic drapery and expressive faces. The vibrant polychrome enamel application faithfully reproduces the warm ochres, blues, and reds of the original fresco. The rectangular format of the coin provides an ideal canvas for this artistic reproduction. The image fills the entire reverse field to the inner border. |
