| Obverse description | The obverse features the quartered coat of arms of Andorra at center, displayed on an ornately engraved field with elaborate acanthus scrollwork and floral arabesques filling the entire rectangular planchet. A small oval cartouche bearing a mitre and crozier device appears at the top center of the composition. The denomination '5 D.' is inscribed in the left field, and the date '2012' appears in the right field, both integrated within the decorative scrollwork.
